Fixture - (Away) Exeter Saracens
Plymouth vs Cullumpton - 42 - 0 With Cullumpton having the much larger pack it did appear at first that our smaller forwards would struggle but in using the width and the speed of our two centres and wings tries start to flow with Holly Molesworth and Lucy Beignton scoring two tries each from open play. Hannah Willis with some good handling from a break went over just before sustaining an injury forced her to miss the rest of the match. Kezia Lee in a new position for her at scrum half using her quickly acceleration from the base of both the scrum and rucks caused most damage also scoring two individual tries. Hannah McArthur scored from the wing from a move along our back line giving her space to score. Plymouth vs Exeter Saracens - 32 - 0 A much more evenly balanced game was anticipated as both teams had won their first games but we game out strong and so had the upper hand with some impressive inter play in the forwards. Four breaks from the forwards gave them the rewards as Tandiwe Wallace-Sims scored twice and Harriet Inglis once but rpobably the move of the days for me was a break down the wing and an audacious pass overhead which was plucked out of the air by Louise Gardener to score. Again though Kezia Lee was dominant at both scrummage and rucks picking up two more tries in this game which in the end was won comfortably.
